Heat pumps, solar and funding advice across Scotland
20 years of heating and renewable-energy experience, helping you understand what could work for your home, what funding may be available and who should install it.
Funding in Scotland
Home Energy Scotland grants of up to £7,500 may be available towards a heat pump, plus an optional interest-free loan.
Choosing a heat pump, solar panels or battery storage can feel complicated. Feel Warm is not an installer. We are your experienced guide, here to make the decision clearer and the next step easier.
20
years of heating and renewable-energy experience
We know how homes in Scotland are built, heated and lived in, and what makes an installation a success.
We look at your home, how you heat it today and what you spend, then explain which technologies make sense, and which don’t.
We explain the grants, interest-free loans and VAT savings that may apply in Scotland, so you know where you stand before you commit.
We introduce you to an experienced, MCS-certified installer partner to survey your home and provide a quote. You stay in control of every decision.
Each technology works harder when it is planned together. We help you see how heating, generation, storage and charging fit your home, your budget and the way you live.
Generate your own electricity from daylight, even on Scottish grey days.
Store cheaper or solar-generated power and use it when you need it.
Charge your electric car safely and affordably at home.
Efficient, cleaner-burning stoves for real warmth and atmosphere.
Funding in Scotland
Scotland has some of the most generous support in the UK for homeowners moving to low-carbon heating. We help you understand what you may be eligible for, and how to apply in the right order.
Funding is set by Home Energy Scotland and is subject to eligibility and availability. Never start work before you have a written funding offer.
Up to £7,500

Feel Warm is not a renewable-energy installer, and we won’t pretend to be. We use our experience to guide you, then introduce you to a trusted, qualified installer partner.
If that introduction results in an installation, Feel Warm may receive a referral fee from the installer. We think you should know that from the start.
We only introduce installers certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, which is also a condition of most renewable-energy funding.
We only pass your enquiry to an installer partner when you have given clear consent.
Our job is to help you make a good decision, even if that decision is to wait.
From granite homes in Aberdeen to tenement flats in Glasgow and farmhouses in Ayrshire, we help households across Scotland find the right renewable-energy solution and the right installer to deliver it.
Straight answers about how Feel Warm works, funding in Scotland and what to expect next.
No. Feel Warm is an introduction and guidance service. We help you understand your options and funding, then connect you with an experienced MCS-certified installer partner who carries out the survey, quote and installation.
Feel Warm may receive a referral fee from the installer partner if an introduction results in an installation. We are open about this from the outset, and there is never any obligation to go ahead with an installation.
Homeowners in Scotland may be eligible for a Home Energy Scotland grant of up to £7,500 towards a heat pump, with an optional interest-free loan of up to £7,500. An additional rural uplift may be available for eligible rural and island homes. Funding is subject to eligibility and availability, so always wait for a written offer before work starts.
Many older homes run heat pumps well, but it depends on insulation, radiators and how the system is designed. A proper heat loss survey by an MCS-certified installer is the reliable way to know, and we can help arrange one.
Funding and installations generally need the homeowner’s agreement, so our enquiry form asks whether you own and live in the property as your main home. If you rent, speak to your landlord first.
We review your answers, talk you through what could work and what funding may apply, and, with your consent, introduce you to a selected installer partner to arrange a survey and quote.
Tell us a little about your home and how you heat it. We’ll come back to you with clear, honest guidance.
Takes around two minutes. We use your answers to understand your home before we talk.
